20 Sep 2021, 02:18 GMT+10

HELSINKI, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) --A birthday party for a giant panda, Lumi, was held in the Ahtari zoo in central Finland on Saturday.

It's Lumi's seventh birthday.

The staff specially prepared a birthday meal, including carefully selected and sufficient fresh bamboo leaves and fruits.

Many Finnish tourists came to the zoo to send their wishes to the birthday girl.

Originally called Jin Baobao in China, Lumi received her Finnish nickname, which translates as "snow".

Lumi traveled to Finland with his "boyfriend" Pyry in 2018.

They are the first giant pandas traveling to the Nordic countries.

The pair planned to stay at their Finnish home for 15 years.
